i always wanted to do paintball. my cousins would do the paintball tourney in the woods. it sounded like fun.
I saw on espn these new style paintball tourneys with inflatabile obstacles. i don't really like how the competition seems to be an endless barrage of paintballs, and sprint as fast as possible to take cover, then fire as many paintballs and hope you hit something.
a more fun/challenging thing to play and watch would be an urban assault. you would have one or two buldings. each team would be responsible for a capture the flag style mission, and would have to go about clearing buildings and hunting down their opponents!
Everyone has a favorite playing style. I like speedball but I don't like the cheating shooting thousands of balls type of speedball. I like to use skill and strategy in my game where as most people cheat or shoot massive amounts of paint.
We have different types of fields and a scenario or woodsball field that we play strategy games on. It's lots of fun.
