I just wanted to post a few links for anyone who's been reading about the Melinda Bautista trial. She is accused of shaking 10 month old Madilyne Wentz to death while providing day care services.

Gosh you hear so many things about sudden infant death syndrome and shaken baby syndrome. These people are sooooo sick! These little children are so innocent and such little blessings. How many of the sudden infant death syndrome cases are actually a misdiagnosis of shaken baby? I bet there are many cases of sudden infant death that were actually shaken baby.
I know you talked about it earlier. it's really terrible thing to do to a baby. Anyway, how you 've been doin'? I havn't seen you on my blog for many days. *Smiles*

Everyone in this town knows that Melinda is innocent. If you simply read the paper, you will see that she didn't do anything wrong. Besides that fact that poor little Madilyne was NOT taken care of by her mother (who would never win a mother-of-the-year award), the EMS workers screwed up big time. Rachel Sumner (the mother) can't seem to keep her facts straight, in the trial she said that the baby slept for 15 hours, she fed her, gave her a bath and then put her down for a nap! Hello?! Something was already wrong with that baby. Nevermind the CRIMINALS that she LIVED with. She didn't give the medication correctly to Madilyne.
Melinda only tried to revive the child. She never shook her. The stories that Madilyne's mother and grandmother have posted on the internet are full of lies. NOBODY ever had problems with Melinda's babysitting ever. NOBODY ever has come forward to the police with problems that they have had with Melinda. Madilyne had NO bruising or any other indications of trauma on her little body. All of these things are listed by the family and there is NOTHING to back them up.
In the meantime, Melinda, her husband and most of all her children are all the ones who are suffering. The verdict will be out within the week probably. I PRAY that the jury makes the right decision and then I hope that Melinda sues the pants off everyone involved.

I am sorry you think Rachel is a bad mother and she was living with coworkers as they were traveling for work. It's not like she shacked up with them by choice. It's funny how ya'll are accusing me of accusing Melinda for things I'm reading in the Altus newspapers and you're doing the same thing to Rachel only she isn't accused of killing anyone.
